Heitkemper serves as the President of Minuteman Weather, LLC. He is a recognized industry pioneer and leader in the meteorological analysis for the agricultural and energy commodity trading sectors. Heitkemper earned a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Louis University in addition to a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Heitkemper has had extensive experience in management, product development, marketing, and sales. He spent part of his years of senior executive leadership in one of the premier analytical firms providing services to the United States of America (U.S.) defense and intelligence communities.  Prior to joining Minuteman Weather, LLC, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of MDA Information Systems Michigan division with over 160 employees.  He led the group to over $40 million in gross revenues while reducing costs during his tenure.  He has also served in the roles of Head of Strategic Planning/Mergers and Acquisitions for MDA Information Systems in addition to building the industry-leading weather analytics group during his tenure with MDA Information Systems and Earth Satellite Corporation.  

He served as the Vice President of Earth Satellite Corporation and MDA Information Systems and the overall effective head of the group. Throughout his career, he has designed and developed advanced weather analytical applications for data cleaning, rainfall and temperature derivatives, removing discontinuities in weather data history, and other data analyses.
